Holy Trinity Lutheran School is approved by the Washington State Board of Education. We are fully accredited by WELS School Accreditation (WELSSA) and the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA).

Holy Trinity school families have the opportunity to be supported spiritually by our pastor and church family. Our school is owned and operated by Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, also located in Des Moines, Washington. Holy Trinity Lutheran School is part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), one of the largest private school systems in the United States. The WELS has a rich tradition of academic excellence and has operated highly-regarded schools across the United States, the Caribbean, and the world for over 165 years. Currently this network includes 335 early childhood centers, 269 elementary schools, and 31 high schools across the nation.
You do not need to be Lutheran to attend Holy Trinity. We welcome families from a variety of faith backgrounds who value a high-quality education built on Biblical truth and lasting Christian values.
A PreK-12 Christian Education
We are a member of The Evergreen Lutheran School System, a partnership of PreK-12 Lutheran schools in the Pacific Northwest. Upon graduation from 8th grade, Holy Trinity students have the opportunity to continue their Christian education at Evergreen Lutheran High School (ELHS), a Christ-centered college preparatory school located in Tacoma, Washington.
We Value Our Parents
Our school uses the ParentPulse survey tool to regularly ask for parent feedback. The parent quotes offered on our website are expressions of appreciation for our school that have been collected through our regular feedback process. We value our parents’ insights and use their responses to continuously improve.
The ParentPulse Parent Choice Award is given to schools with an overall Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 70 or higher for the school year. Scores of 70+ are rare and considered “world class.” We’re honored to be in that tier and deeply thankful for our parents’ trust and partnership.
